Behavior and Education Inc is a Non-Public Agency certified by the California Department of Education to provide applied behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral disabilities.

Mission Statement: It is our commitment to offer an enriched, therapeutic learning environment for individuals and families to develop and improve their quality of life. Our services aim to reduce maladaptive behavior patterns, develop new adaptive skills, minimize the extent of developmental delays, assist in the formation of appropriate social behavior, develop learning readiness skills, and empower parents to become active participants in their child’s development.

Our services are based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) methodology and include the instructional approaches of Direct Instruction, Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Pivotal Response Training (PRT), Incidental Teaching/ Natural Environment Training (NET), Verbal Behavior, and Positive Behavior Support (PBS). Quality supervision is an essential aspect of ABA treatment programs. Therefore, each child receives supervision by a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) with years of experience delivering and supervising ABA therapies.

Any number of intervention strategies may produce effective behavior change. We prioritize finding a goodness of fit between our strategies and the child’s natural environment. Our clinicians look for the right contextual fit for all who will be involved and affected by the program. This includes the child, their family, school teacher, classmates, and other treatment providers on the child’s therapeutic team. Each child’s program is uniquely tailored to their individualized needs and based on functional assessment of behavior.
